Pastor Barrett and Amanda are the lead pastors of Dominion Life Church Lake Charles. They're local to this community and carry a genuine heart for its people — they want to see the power of Jesus impact Lake Charles.
Reuben & Jenny Yavny
Pastor Reuben and Jenny are the associate pastors of Dominion Life Church Lake Charles. Their heart is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ with miracles, power, boldness, compassion, and fierce love.

I'm not sure I even believe in God yet. Is this still for me?
Yes, completely. You don't have to have it figured out to belong here. Come as a skeptic, come with questions, come exactly as you are — that's who this place is for.
Do I have to be a member to take communion?
No. Communion is open to anyone who follows Jesus, whether you've been coming for years or this is your first Sunday.
What if I don't agree with everything the church teaches?
That's okay. Following Jesus is a process, not a test you pass on day one. Stay in the conversation, ask questions, and grow at your own pace — nobody is going to push you away for asking hard questions.
How do I get baptized?
Water baptism is one of our regular special events — visit our Special Events page to sign up, or talk to a pastor after a service. We'll walk you through what it means and what to expect.
How do I become a member?
Membership starts with showing up and getting connected — join LifeTeam, get to know a pastor, and start serving where you're gifted. There's no long process standing between you and belonging here.
What does "full gospel" and "Spirit-filled" actually mean?
It means we believe in the whole message of Jesus — forgiveness, healing, and the Holy Spirit's power at work today, not just in Bible times. In practice, you'll see heartfelt worship and room for God to move, at whatever pace you're comfortable with.
