Why Baby Dedication?
In Scripture, parents like Hannah brought their children before the Lord to entrust them to Him from the very start (1 Samuel 1:27-28), and Jesus Himself blessed the little children brought to Him (Mark 10:13-16). Baby dedication is a public act of worship where parents commit to raise their child in the Lord's ways (Proverbs 22:6), and our church family commits alongside them to help.
It isn't a guarantee of salvation for your child — that's a decision they'll make for themselves one day — but it's a meaningful step of faith for your family, and a promise from your church to stand with you.

Why Water Baptism?
Jesus commanded His followers to be baptized (Matthew 28:19) and set the example Himself when John baptized Him in the Jordan (Matthew 3:13-17). Scripture describes baptism as a public picture of what's already happened in your heart — going under the water as a symbol of being buried with Christ, and rising up out of it as a symbol of being raised to new life with Him (Romans 6:3-4).
Baptism doesn't save you — faith in Jesus does that. It's simply your public "yes," declaring what He's already done. There's no fixed schedule — reach out and a pastor will personally walk you through what baptism means and get you set up for the next opportunity.
